The accused was detained pending investigation

The investigating authorities in Suez Governorate decided to imprison the accused, a scrap collector, for a period of 15 days pending investigation, after he was accused of assaulting and killing the child inside a store under construction in the Al-Zarrayer area.

Shocking confessions of the accused while acting out the crime

While representing the crime before the investigating authorities, the accused made detailed, shocking confessions, where he admitted that he lured the child Muhammad, known as “Ring,” from in front of his house and took him to a store under construction inside one of the residential towers.

The accused explained that after he brought the victim into the place, he assaulted him in an immoral act, then he feared that the child would expose him, so he decided to get rid of him.

The accused added that he placed the child’s head forcefully on the floor of the place, trying to hold his breath, but the child tried to resist and move, which led him to fear that he would run away or scream.

The accused indicated that he grabbed a brick that was inside the store, and began directing successive blows to the child’s head, confirming that he continued to hit him several times until he fell to the ground without moving.

The accused confirmed in his confessions that after the last blows he was sure that the child was dead, then he left the place and fled.
