Sources at the Ministry of Education revealed that educational departments and directorates will continue to work normally, without any change in the attendance system, stressing that they are not included in the Council of Ministers’ decision to apply “online” work to the state’s administrative apparatus.
The sources explained during special statements that the exception of departments and directorates comes in light of the regularity of classes in schools on Sunday, which requires the continuation of administrative work at full capacity to ensure the educational process proceeds without any obstacles.
Education resources: ongoing and not included in “online” decisions
The sources confirmed that work within the departments and directorates will continue with physical attendance, while adhering to all regulatory instructions, to ensure the provision of educational and administrative services to students and teachers on a regular basis.
The government officially decided that classes in schools and universities would continue without any change, denying what was reported during the past hours about the educational process being affected by decisions to work remotely, confirming what was published by Cairo 24.
Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly explained that the remote work system currently being discussed concerns employees of the state’s administrative apparatus only, and does not extend in any way to schools or universities.
