This Tuesday morning, the North Sinai Endowments Directorate organized a series of expanded awareness seminars entitled: “Family Disintegration… Its Causes and Ways to Address It” in the governorate’s schools, as part of the activities of the “Correct Your Concepts” initiative, within the framework of the advocacy and awareness role played by the Ministry of Endowments.
North Sinai Endowments organizes a series of awareness seminars in schools on family disintegration
These seminars come in fruitful cooperation with the Directorate of Education, under the patronage of Dr. Osama Al-Azhari, Minister of Endowments, and under the supervision and guidance of His Eminence Sheikh Mahmoud Marzouk, Director of the North Sinai Endowments Directorate.
The seminars addressed several important topics aimed at highlighting the seriousness of the disintegration of family ties, the most prominent of which are: The definition of family disintegration, its devastating effects on the psychology of children and the stability of society, The main causes of family disintegration, including the absence of dialogue between family members, the incorrect use of social media, and economic pressures.
The seminars concluded by presenting some solutions and recommendations, most notably: emphasizing the values of affection and compassion, the importance of family cohesion in raising a healthy generation, and the role of religion in setting controls for family rights and duties.
Sheikh Mahmoud Marzouk, Director of the North Sinai Endowments Directorate, said: “The family is the first building block in building society, and its well-being means the well-being of the entire nation.” He added that the “Correct Your Concepts” initiative aims to reach our students in their schools to fortify their minds with the correct moral values, and to make them aware of the dangers of the negative social phenomena that threaten the entity of the Egyptian family, stressing that contemporary religious discourse places family issues at the top of its priorities.”
These seminars come within a series of advocacy and awareness-raising activities carried out by the North Sinai Endowments Directorate within schools, with the aim of confronting contemporary societal issues in a simplified scientific and religious manner, protecting young people from negative behaviors and false ideas, and building a conscious generation, committed to its identity and able to contribute effectively to the development of society.
