Next Monday, over two days, December 8 and 9, 2025, the Faculty of Education for Boys in Cairo, Al-Azhar University, will organize its eleventh international conference, which will be held under the title: “Generation Alpha and Education: Creating the Future and Leading Change.”

Dr. Jamal Farghal Al-Hawari, Dean of the College and Chairman of the Conference, said that the conference, in its eleventh edition, is being held under the patronage of His Eminence the Grand Imam Dr. Ahmed Al-Tayeb, Sheikh of Al-Azhar, and Dr. Muhammad Abd al-Rahman Al-Duwaini, Deputy of Al-Azhar, and with great support from Dr. Salama Gomaa Dawoud, President of the University, and Dr. Mahmoud Siddiq, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research, at the Al-Azhar Conference Center in Nasr City.
The Dean of the College explained that the conference is being held with the participation of an elite group of academic figures and educational experts from inside and outside Egypt, and is under the honorary presidency of Dr. Salama Dawoud, President of Al-Azhar University, and Dr. Mahmoud Siddiq, Vice President of the University for Postgraduate Studies and Research. Dr. Attia Al-Sayed Abdel-Al, Vice President of the College for Postgraduate Studies and Research, and Dr. Hamdi Ayoub, Vice President of the College for Education and Student Affairs, are assuming the duties of rapporteurs. He added that holding this scientific event comes as an embodiment of the college’s vision of anticipating the future. Education, and keeping pace with the digital and cognitive transformations required to prepare Generation Alpha; The generation that can be relied upon to lead the paths of development and creativity during the coming decades, as the conference is a scientific platform for discussing modern educational approaches and producing innovative ideas that contribute to building the awareness of the new generation and developing their capabilities.
The Dean of the College explained that the conference includes six main topics:
The first: Characteristics of the Alpha generation and the impact of values and technology on teaching and learning.
The second axis: revolves around an innovative educational strategy through curricula, technologies, and tools.
The third axis: revolves around lifelong learning and sustainable development.
The fourth axis: It deals with how to develop leadership competencies in the era of artificial intelligence and big data.
The fifth axis: It focuses on strategic partnerships between educational institutions, families, and community institutions.
The sixth axis: focuses on raising the Alpha generation between religious constants and digital transformations.
The Dean of the College added that the conference aims to explore the characteristics of Generation Alpha by analyzing the psychological, social and educational characteristics of Generation Alpha with the aim of forming a deep understanding of the values and behaviors that distinguish this generation and their impact on strategic choices in education, identifying the opportunities and challenges facing Generation Alpha, moving towards engineering and designing innovative educational programmes, courses, curricula and strategies that suit the changing needs of Generation Alpha, strengthening the strategic partnership between educational institutions, and defining a procedural mechanism to empower teachers and educational leaders with effective tools and strategies, consolidating the system of moral values to enhance the Islamic vision in central… And moderation among Generation Alpha.
