He explained in special statements to “Cairo 24” from inside the Cathedral of the Virgin Mary that everyone shares joy and joy, saying: “Muslims before Christians came to congratulate us, and we are all gathered to rejoice in the Eid.”
The governor expressed his sincere wishes for a glorious Resurrection to the people of Luxor of all sects and to the Egyptian people in general.

He pointed out that this interconnectedness and love is what distinguishes Luxor Governorate and supports its tourist status, stressing that all Egyptians are brothers and stand together on all occasions.
The culmination of the tour of churches and the bishop’s statements
These special statements come as a conclusion of an extensive evening tour conducted by the Governor of Luxor, accompanied by a senior security and executive delegation, which included the cathedral and the Catholic and Evangelical churches.
The governor’s vision is consistent with what Bishop Youssab, Bishop of Luxor, stated to Cairo 24, who previously confirmed that the cohesion of Muslims and Christians is the secret of God’s preservation of Egypt amid all challenges.
A formal affirmation of the strength of the bond
During the tour, the governor renewed his emphasis that the people of the country represent one fabric, praising the spirit of tolerance that characterizes Egyptian society.
He expressed his hopes that the Eid would bring goodness and growth to Egypt, so that it would continue the process of development and reconstruction under the leadership of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi.
