Hani Abu Raida, President of the Egyptian Football Association, spoke about his relationship with Fawzi Lakjaa, President of the Moroccan Football Association, stressing that the relationship between them is one of brotherhood.
Abu Raida: Moroccans are not satisfied with the events of the Al-Ahly and Royal Army match
In statements on the Qatari Al Kass channel, Abu Raida said: Fawzi Lakjaa is a friend and colleague of Kifah, and the Africans say that no one can come between me and him.
Abu Raida touched on the events that took place in the match between Al-Ahly and the Royal Moroccan Army in the African Champions League, saying: What happened is certainly unacceptable, especially since Morocco is days away from hosting a major tournament the size of the African Champions League.
Abu Raida added: The Moroccan brothers are not satisfied with the events that took place in the match between Al-Ahly and the Royal Army, and what happened does not represent the fans of Moroccan football.
Abu Raida went on to say that since he joined the Executive Office of the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) in 2009, he did not have the right to be present within the committees of the Confederation of African Football, according to the regulations that were in place at the time, but this situation has changed in recent years.
