Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with the Head of State The UAEToday, Friday, the heads of delegations participating in the tripartite talks that include the United States of America, the Russian Federation, and the Republic of Ukraine, hosted by the UAE, as part of efforts aimed at enhancing dialogue and finding political solutions to the Ukrainian crisis.

Participating in the talks that began today in Abu Dhabi are Steve Witkov and Javid Kushner, US presidential envoys, Igor Kostyukov, head of the General Department of the Russian General Staff, Kirill Budanov, director of the Ukrainian president’s office, Rustem Omerov, secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council, and a number of relevant senior officials from Russia and Ukraine.
The President of the UAE expressed his wishes to the negotiators for success in their talks and to achieve positive results that contribute to ending the crisis that has been ongoing for years, stressing the UAE’s consistent approach based on encouraging constructive dialogue and supporting everything that would enhance diplomatic solutions to various crises and conflicts.
He said that the UAE supports all efforts and initiatives aimed at finding a settlement of the Ukrainian crisis for the benefit of all parties and in a way that enhances the causes of peace and stability in the world.
The start of negotiations between the delegations of Russia, the United States and Ukraine
Today, Friday, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed the start of talks between the tripartite working group with the participation of representatives of Russia, the United States and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi, which will continue until Saturday.
The UAE Foreign Ministry statement said: The talks began today in Abu Dhabi as part of efforts to enhance dialogue and find political solutions to the crisis, and will continue for two days.
Today, Friday, UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed welcomed the negotiations of the tripartite working group of Russia, the United States and Ukraine in Abu Dhabi, expressing his hope that they would lead to a peaceful settlement of the Ukrainian crisis.
Abdullah bin Zayed said in a statement: The UAE Foreign Minister expresses his hope that these negotiations will lead to further steps that would resolve the crisis that has been ongoing for four years.
