Today, Saturday, April 11, the matches of the second round of the coronation group will begin, within the competitions of the second stage of the competition League Excellent for the 2025-2026 season.

The league’s coronation group will witness 7 teams competing to achieve the title and reserve the four qualifying seats for the African Champions League and the Confederation Cup, after occupying the first to seventh positions in the first round of the competition.
Zamalek, Pyramids, Al-Ahly, Al-Masry Al-Port Said, Ceramica Cleopatra, Smouha and Enppi clubs compete in the final stage, consisting of 6 rounds, over the final meters of the league.

The second round of the coronation group matches will witness Pyramids’ first appearance in this stage, after his absence from the first round’s competitions due to him taking a forced rest according to the competition’s system.
While Al-Ahly meets Smouha in a strong confrontation awaiting Al-Ahmar, after stumbling in the opening round against Ceramica Cleopatra in a 1-1 draw for each team, and Zamalek will miss that round due to having a rest.
