Ashour stressed that the new mechanism relies entirely on an accurate database that is updated periodically in coordination between the Directorates of Supply, Agriculture, and Veterinary Medicine.

The Secretary-General explained that the primary goal is to link the disbursement quantities to the numbers of heads of livestock actually insured, and to limit the contracting factories and traders, which closes the door to the leakage of support to the undeserving and enhances the fairness of distribution.

Automation of the documentary cycle

The new electronic system allows tracking the movement of roughage from the production stage inside the mills to the final delivery to the beneficiary, with all transactions documented electronically.
