“Joe” will remain engraved in the minds of his fans, the public and even the artistic community, who consider him a cinematic legend that is difficult to replicate.

The artist Lebleba said, in a special statement to “Sada El Balad”: “Youssef Chahine is a private school or college in its own right, and whoever works with Youssef Chahine considers himself to have graduated directly from an acting institute to become a professional at work, and he is one of the directors who loves the actor and cares for him until he comes out in his best image.”

Lebleba added: “I love Youssef Chahine and a beautiful friendship developed between me, and I cannot forget his stance with me in the movie “The Other” while filming a scene with the artist Hanan Turk, and my eyes were filled with tears and I told her, “He loves you.” At that time, the atmosphere was full of coldness, and after the scene ended, as he wanted, he hugged and kissed me and took off his wool jelly so that I could wear it so that I would not catch a cold.

Lebleba concluded her speech by praying for mercy and forgiveness for him, saying: “May God have mercy on him, and cinema will continue to remember the late Youssef Chahine.”
