The Egyptian National Railway Authority decided to take all necessary legal measures to cancel and stop the sale service Train tickets Through the selling agent (Fawry Company) and its agents, starting today, Sunday, 1/18/2026.

This comes within the framework of the Authority’s keenness to protect the rights of passengers, and to ensure the provision of distinguished levels of service, and in view of what it has observed that some sales agents affiliated with Fawry Company use the reprinting feature to issue train travel tickets multiple times and sell them to the traveling public in violation of the law and the instructions regulating the electronic sale of train tickets, despite the fact that the Egyptian National Railway Authority has imposed fines on Fawry Company for not adhering to applying the control and governance procedure and taking the necessary technical measures to stop the reprinting feature for train travel tickets.

Stopping the service of selling train tickets via Fawry

She explained that several sales agents affiliated with Fawry Company were arrested for fraudulently obtaining a number of tickets in violation of the terms of the contract, and they were referred to the investigation authorities to take legal measures against them.

The Authority confirmed the continuation of the service of selling train tickets through other sales agents who are committed to the instructions and conditions of contracting with the Authority to provide the service of selling and issuing tickets, which are (Khalis – Al Ahly Possible – Aman – Guarantor – Magic Pay – My Services – O Pay – Shot – Cash Call – Money – Money – Directed – Smart Pay – My Time), in addition to the sales outlets available for booking tickets in several ways, which are: ticket windows spread across the Authority’s various stations 24 hours a day – 34 city offices. Offices nationwide – Booking through the Authority’s website – Mobile phone application – Booking tickets on air-conditioned and luxury trains by calling the voice service at 1661 from a mobile phone or 09000661 from any landline – Self-booking machines [ TVM ] Located in some major stations.

The authority explained that it is sparing no effort to provide the best possible service to the passenger public, in light of the great interest that the state gives to this vital and important facility that transports millions of passengers annually, which has created a major qualitative shift in the level of service provided.
