The Supply Directorate was launched In AssiutIn coordination with external supply departments, intensive supply campaigns were carried out at the level of all centers and villages of the governorate, within the framework of the directives of Major General Dr. Hisham Abu Al-Nasr, Governor of Assiut, and the instructions of Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, and under the leadership of Engineer Khaled Mohamed Ahmed, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Supply in Assiut, with the aim of tightening control over all supply establishments, tightening control over the markets, and controlling attempts to manipulate prices.

Intensive food campaigns

The campaigns resulted in the writing of the following records:
First: in the field of markets, seizing a pharmacy operating without a license in the Badari center, and seizing the medications seized inside it, seizing a store containing 3,648 packages of candy without invoices, seizing 2,500 liters of diesel inside a gas station, seizing 25 kg of chicken and liver unfit for human consumption, issuing 14 closure reports for catering merchants, issuing 4 closure reports for stove depots, and issuing 3 reports for not announcing prices. Butane cylinders, 5 minutes were issued for not announcing the prices of food rations.

Issuing 4 reports for selling cigarettes at more than the official price, seizing 10 bags of subsidized local flour before selling them on the black market, issuing a report for my association’s project for its disposal of: 1,169 bags of sugar, 1,391 bottles of oil, 205 bags of pasta, seizing 590 bags of sugar, 50 bags of flour, 30 kg of rice, 5 cartons of snacks without invoices, issuing 4 reports for irregular registration in the 21 petroleum register, editing 14 reports were issued for not advertising prices in shops, cafes, restaurants and commercial establishments, and two reports were issued for not carrying health certificates.

Second: In the field of bakeries, 382 reports were issued for municipal bakeries, varying between reports of underweight, non-compliance with specifications, lack of cleanliness, lack of an advertising data board, partial stoppage, lack of a scale, misuse of quantities of flour, and failure to give a refund to citizens.
