Trump said: “Iran is running out of missile launchers, and I would be open to working with the survivors of the Iranian regime.”
Trump added: “We are open to working with some elements of the Iranian regime.”
Earlier, an opinion poll conducted by CNN showed a widening gap within the American street regarding the strikes on Iran. The poll showed that 59% of Americans oppose the military operation, compared to 41% who support it, with the percentage of strong rejection being double the percentage of strong support, which reflects a deep state of reservation towards engaging in a new military confrontation.
The survey also revealed that 60% of participants do not trust that President Donald Trump has a clear plan to deal with the repercussions of the crisis, an indication of growing doubts about the administration’s long-term strategy.
