The competent investigation authorities are investigating those accused of fabricating the kidnapping of a gas cylinder distributor in Giza.
The Ministry’s security services revealed Interior Circumstances of what was reported to the Kardasa Police Station in the Giza Security Directorate from a person – a resident of the station’s district, that his brother, a gas cylinder distributor, left for work on February 2nd. Following that, he received a call from a person on his brother’s phone, during which he indicated that his brother had been kidnapped due to financial disputes between them, and demanded that he transfer a sum of money in exchange for his release, and sent him a video clip of his brother on one of the phone programs, “tied up and blindfolded.”

By conducting investigations, it was possible to identify and arrest the perpetrator of the incident (a private guard with “criminal information”) on one of the farms located in the Abu Nomros area, accompanied by the complainant’s brother. When they confronted them, they admitted that there was a friendly relationship between them, and that they agreed to fabricate the incident because they were experiencing financial hardship as a result of losing sums of money on one of the betting applications and their desire to obtain the sum of money from the sum and divide it between them to complete the bets to compensate for their losses.
