The competent investigation authorities in Qena began investigating the incident of finding the body of a young man drowned in a canal after he disappeared in the village of Al-Toud in the Abu Shet center, in Qena Governorate.
A small body was found inside a canal
The beginning was when the security services in the Qena Security Directorate received a notification from the Abu Shet Police Station, stating that a report had been received that a small body had been found drowned inside a canal in the village of Al-Toud, affiliated with the Central District, and immediately a security force moved to the site of the accident.
Transfer and examination revealed that a young boy named Sufyan, aged 4 years, was found drowned in a canal after being absent for hours in the village of Al-Toud in the Abochet Center. The body was transferred to the morgue of the Abochet Central Hospital at the disposal of the competent authorities.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident and the investigating authorities were notified to undertake investigations, which assigned the Criminal Investigation Department to intensify efforts to uncover the circumstances of the incident.
