Dr. Engineer Alaa Naji, CEO of the Holding Company for Food Industries, said that the electronic payment system has been introduced at the General Company for Wholesale Trade sales outlet, within the exhibitions “Hello Ramadan» Located in Dakahlia Governorate.
This came during an inspection tour conducted by Dr. Sherif Farouk, Minister of Supply and Internal Trade, Dr. Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development, Major General Tariq Marzouk, Governor of Dakahlia, and Hassan Ali, Undersecretary of the Directorate of Supply and Internal Trade in Dakahlia, which included catering facilities, in addition to the opening of a group of food commodity exhibitions in the governorate.
Nagy added that the Holding Company for Food Industries participates in the “Welcome Ramadan” exhibitions in Dakahlia Governorate through a number of subsidiaries, including the Misr Oils and Soap Company, Damietta Speculators, Belqas Speculators affiliated with the Dakahlia Speculators Company, and Qaha Preserved Foods Company, in addition to the General Company for Wholesale Trade, which represents the rest of the subsidiaries by offering the products of its sister companies.
The CEO of the Holding Company for Food Industries explained that the prices of food and consumer goods offered at the “Welcome Ramadan” exhibitions in Dakahlia Governorate are at discounts of up to 25%, with the pumping of large quantities of all food and consumer goods and products.
The prices of the Holding Company for Food Industries’ goods were as follows: Verona pasta 350 grams at 7.5 pounds, natural rice at 21 pounds instead of 23 pounds, natural thin Verona rice at 22 pounds, fine-grain Verona rice at 23 pounds, wide Verona “Camolino” rice at 26 pounds, luxurious wide Acadia rice at 29 pounds, flour. Al-Kawthar is priced at 18.5 pounds instead of 22 pounds.
In addition to “Qaha” tomato sauce, a 300-gram jar, 25 pounds instead of 29 pounds, “Qaha” tomato sauce, a 300-gram packet, priced at 15 pounds instead of 17 pounds, natural cane vinegar of one liter capacity, priced at 12 pounds instead of 15 pounds, and “Qaha” jam of all kinds, where a 350-gram package recorded 25 pounds instead of 30 pounds, while a package of “Qaha” recorded 25 pounds instead of 30 pounds. 900 grams: 55 pounds instead of 60 pounds.
