Dakahlia Governorate is witnessing a state of extreme preparedness to face the expected weather fluctuations in the coming days, as Major General Tariq Marzouk directed to raise the level of readiness in all local units and deal immediately with any repercussions resulting from bad weather conditions.

The Governor of Dakahlia confirmed that the executive agencies in the centers, cities and neighborhoods are in a state of constant alert, with an emphasis on quickly removing rainwater collections as soon as possible, and in full coordination with the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, in addition to activating the operating rooms around the clock to receive reports and deal with them urgently.

As part of the precautionary measures, the governor decided to grant a holiday on Wednesday and Thursday to all nursing schools affiliated with the Directorate of Health Affairs, in order to ensure the safety of students and workers, in coordination with the decisions of the Ministry of Education.

For his part, Dr. explained Hamouda El-Gazzar The decision comes as part of a proactive plan to confront weather fluctuations, stressing the continuation of immediate follow-up and taking the necessary decisions to ensure the safety of everyone.

In the same context, Dr. announced Sherif Khater Raising the maximum level of readiness in all university hospitals and specialized medical centers, with emphasis on the readiness of medical teams, the availability of medicines, supplies, and blood bank balances, as well as the regularity of work in emergency and reception departments around the clock.

The university president also directed the activation of operating rooms and linking them to the central operating room, to ensure rapid response to any emergency cases, while fully adhering to occupational safety and health procedures.

Regarding the educational process, Mansoura University reassured international students that their studies would not be affected, as it was decided to reschedule exams and organize lectures in the e-learning system (online) starting next week, in a way that ensures continuity of study and achieves equal opportunities for all students.

The university confirmed the continued provision of academic and administrative support to incoming students, with the colleges’ readiness to communicate directly with them and respond to their inquiries, ensuring the stability of the educational process despite weather fluctuations.
