Major General Haitham Shehata, Director of the Department Civil protection in QalyubiaA notification from the Civil Protection Operations Room reported that a fire had broken out inside a plastic factory in the industrial zone in Obour City.
The security services and civil protection forces immediately moved to the site of the accident, where 7 fire engines were dispatched, supported by ambulances, to control the fire, contain the fire, and prevent it from spreading to neighboring buildings and facilities.
A report was drawn up regarding the incident, and the competent authorities were notified, which undertook the investigation to determine the causes and circumstances of the fire.
