Lavrov added during an interview with the Russian NTV channel: We are conducting a special military operation in Ukraine… and we do not intend to attack any Europe… and this is completely unnecessary for us.
During his speech, Lavrov warned that Russia would respond fully militarily with all available means if it was attacked by Europe, saying: If Europe suddenly carries out its threats to prepare for war against us and begins attacking the Russian Federation.
He continued: Our individual will be Kamal, as President Putin previously stated. It will not be a special military operation on our part. It will be a comprehensive military response using all the means available to us in accordance with the ideological documents in this regard.
This statement comes at a time when tensions continue between Russia and the West since the beginning of the military operation in Ukraine in February 2022, as NATO countries mobilized their forces in Eastern European countries and supplied Kiev with advanced weapons.
