Algeria’s ambassador to Egypt, Mohamed Sofiane Barah, expressed his gratitude for the warm reception and hospitality he received during his visit to the headquarters of the Egyptian Football Association in 6th of October City on the sidelines of watching his country’s national team’s match against the Egyptian youth national team, as part of the Al-Arriyi duo’s preparations to participate in the North African qualifiers, qualifying for the U-20 African Cup finals.
Visit of the Algerian Ambassador to the Football Association
In statements to the media center of the Egyptian Football Association, the Algerian ambassador confirmed that he monitored the great potential of the national team center and the extent of its development, and its reaching international levels in terms of stadiums, accommodation, food, and other equipment, whether during his current or previous visit, during the meeting of the two countries’ national teams at the women’s football level earlier.
The Algerian ambassador revealed that there is coordination between the Egyptian and Algerian federations and fruitful cooperation at all levels, and that there are government instructions to repeat these meetings between the teams of the two brotherly countries. He also personally followed the good reception and provision of all means of comfort for the Algerian women’s football team, in the holy month of Ramadan, and he was not surprised that this was repeated with the youth team.
The Algerian Ambassador hoped that such activities would be repeated between the youth of Egypt and Algeria in the future, whether at the level of the first team or juniors and youth.
