The Israeli Broadcasting Corporation “Kan” reported a few days ago that the Israeli occupation army had drawn up a plan to launch a large-scale attack on Lebanese Hezbollah targets, if the efforts of the Beirut government and the Lebanese army failed to disarm the party.
In the same context, a senior security source told Israeli broadcasts that the United States confirmed that if Hezbollah does not effectively disarm, Israel will do so itself, even if this leads to days of fighting.
It is noteworthy that the Israeli occupation army repeatedly launches attacks, most of them in southern Lebanon, claiming that they target members of Hezbollah or other organizations.
