Stress Yahya Zakaria The Ghazl El Mahalla player said that his most important dream at the beginning of 2026 is to represent the Egyptian national team in the World Cup, which will be held in the middle of the year, stressing that joining the first team under the leadership of Hossam Hassan is a legitimate goal for all Premier League players.
Yahya Zakaria added in radio statements: It is a great honor for me and for any player to represent the Egyptian national team and wear its shirt, and representing the second Egyptian national team was an important step on the way to achieving the dream of joining the Pharaohs national team in the 2026 World Cup.
The Ghazl El Mahalla player continued: I benefited from great experiences and more participation than my participation with the second Egyptian team in the Arab Cup tournament in Qatar. We were not successful in the tournament for many reasons, but what is coming is better, God willing. We did not prepare adequately or with sufficient time to participate in the Arab Cup tournament in Qatar, and we faced great bad luck. We were hoping to win the tournament because the Egyptian team is the strongest candidate for any tournament in which it plays.
Yahya Zakaria added: Participating in a big tournament like the Arab Cup in Qatar is a very important and very useful step for us as a technical staff and players. It is a step that gives you great experiences. The atmosphere, the stadiums, and everything was wonderful. Qatar always impresses everyone because it does everything at the highest level of professionalism.
The Mahalla linebacker confirmed that he is not preoccupied with comparisons with any other player in the same position, whether old or current, commenting: I benefited greatly from following all of my central players, led by Ali Maaloul and Ahmed Fattouh, and my role models locally and closest to my performance are the retired duo Sayed Moawad and Mohamed Abdel Shafi. Each player has a performance and form, and I benefited a lot from following the duo because they are very great players.

Yahya Zakaria concluded his speech by saying: I have an ambition to play for the big clubs and it is a great honor for me to join one of the big three, but my goal is foreign professionalism.
