In a video on social media, Adam Sameh’s mother said that her son, a valedictorian in the third year of secondary school at Imbaba Military Secondary School, was in good health, before his condition suddenly deteriorated as a result of a brain tumor and fluid accumulation, which required urgent surgery, but after the operation his condition deteriorated further, and he entered a complete coma.
She added that his condition has not witnessed any improvement since then, as he has been lying in the intensive care department at the Nasser Institute for Research and Treatment for about 70 days, relying on oxygen machines, and suffering from severe infections, in a very critical condition.
The mother explained that she is living in difficult financial circumstances, as she is a housewife, while the young man’s father works as a gas station attendant, stressing their inability to bear the costs of treatment or provide the required medical care.
She concluded her call for help by appealing to officials and good people to quickly intervene to save her son, saying: I wish my son would be safe and come back to me again… I cannot see him in this condition.
