Abdel Latif Al-Layeh, Egypt’s ambassador to Algeria, extended a special invitation to Engineer Hisham Nasr, vice president of Zamalek Club and head of the first football team’s delegation, to visit him at his home, on the sidelines of Al-Abyad’s match against CS Belouizdad in the first leg of the African Confederation Cup semi-final.
Hisham Nasr was keen to accept the invitation, thanking the ambassador for the embassy’s efforts in overcoming the obstacles facing the Zamalek delegation, and the continuous follow-up since the team’s arrival at Houari Boumediene Airport in the capital, Algiers.
During the visit, the Vice President of Zamalek awarded the club’s shield to the Egyptian ambassador to Algeria in appreciation of his role in supporting the mission.
Zamalek will host CS Belouizdad in the first leg of the semi-final at 9 pm tomorrow, Friday, at Nelson Mandela Stadium, with the return match being held on April 17 at Cairo International Stadium.
