The Ministry of Health and Population is participating in the activities of the sixteenth Kuwaiti Week exhibition in Egypt, organized by the Kuwaiti Embassy in Cairo under the slogan “Kuwait in Egypt” during the period from November 25 to 27, 2025, under the patronage of Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, with the aim of strengthening Egyptian-Kuwaiti cooperation in various fields, especially the health sector.

Dr. Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the Ministry’s official spokesman, confirmed that the participation aims to highlight the major achievements achieved by the country in developing the health system, and to present the true picture of the development that the sector has witnessed in recent years to the Kuwaiti side and the participating parties.

He explained that the opening of the exhibition in the presence of Engineer Hassan Al-Khatib, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, and Ambassador Ghanem Saqr Al-Ghanim, Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Egypt, and with the participation of a number of ministers and ambassadors from the two countries, reflects the depth of brotherly relations and the keenness of both sides to enhance joint cooperation.

The exhibition includes more than 80 Egyptian and Kuwaiti entities, including the Ministries of Health, Petroleum, Endowments, Labor, Civil Aviation, Cairo Governorate, and the League of Arab States, in addition to representatives of the Kuwaiti Ministries of Defense and Information, the Kuwaiti General Authority for Endowments and Industry, and major Kuwaiti companies.
The Ministry of Health and Population’s pavilion provides a comprehensive presentation of the presidential initiatives that have brought about a qualitative shift in health care, such as eliminating Hepatitis C, early detection of chronic diseases, and supporting women’s and children’s health, in addition to projects to develop health infrastructure, raise the efficiency of hospitals and medical equipment, and expand digital transformation.

The pavilion also reviews efforts to encourage private sector investment through modern partnership and operating models, and highlights promising investment opportunities in the Egyptian health sector.

The pavilion received great interaction and wide praise from ministers, ambassadors and the Kuwaiti community, which enhances the prospects for investment cooperation and exchange of experiences between the two countries in the field of health.
