The concerned authorities received a report stating that a two-car collision occurred on the Qantara-Arish Road after an ambush, in the direction of the city of Arish.
Immediately after receiving the report, North Sinai ambulances moved to the site of the accident, where paramedics provided first aid to the injured on the ground, before transporting them quickly and safely to Bir al-Abd Central Hospital to receive the necessary treatment.

In another context, one person was killed and 13 others were injured in a microbus accident that overturned inside a drain belonging to a sewage station in the village of Baloza in the Bir al-Abd area in North Sinai Governorate.
The concerned agencies received a report that a microbus had fallen into a drain belonging to a sewage station in the village of Baloza, and ambulances were dispatched to transport the injured to hospitals.
Details indicate that the vehicle broke down while driving and fell into a drain belonging to the sewage station, where civil protection forces and residents rushed to the accident site and were able to rescue the passengers and get them out.
The injured were transferred to Ismailia Hospital and Qantara East Hospital to receive the necessary medical care, while one of the injured later died as a result of his injuries.
