The artist prepares Tamer Hosny To return to drama again, breaking an absence that has lasted about 12 years since his last dramatic work, amid a state of anticipation among his fans.
Cairo 24 learned that the news circulating about Tamer Hosni settling on presenting a short series belonging to the category of 15 episodes is inaccurate, because the work is still in the initial stages of preparation and drawing the broad outlines of the idea between 15 or 30 episodes.

Earlier, Tamer Hosni revealed his new artistic works in the coming period, indicating that he is in the process of writing a new film that will be released soon in theaters, saying in television statements: There is a movie about to be made and a new series, it is still in the preparation stage, God willing, the audience will like it.
Tamer Hosni’s latest work in drama was the series Timing Teams, which was shown in the 2014 Ramadan race, and achieved widespread interaction at the time of its release. It also included a number of art stars, including: Ahmed Al-Saadani, Dhafer Al-Abidin, Mai Selim, and others.
In another context, sources previously revealed to Cairo 24 that negotiations are currently taking place between the artist Tamer Hosni and a hospital in Egypt, to appear as the advertising face of the 2026 Ramadan campaign, and to present a new song in the work, in the third cooperation between the two parties.
For his part, Tamer Hosni recently showed the movie Restart, and the work included a group of artists, including: Hana Al-Zahid, Mohamed Tharwat, Essam Al-Saqqa, Mimi Gamal, Bassem Samra, and the work is directed by Sarah Wafik.
