A housewife residing in the Tamiya Center, Fayoum Governorate, filed a report at the Tamiya Police Department in which she accused her husband of assaulting her by beating her with his hands and a sharp “iron” instrument, and causing several serious injuries to her body, face, and hands, due to family disputes between them. Investigation officers were able to arrest him, and a report was filed regarding the incident.

Major General Ahmed Ezzat, Security Director FayoumA notification from the warden of the Tamiya Police Department stated that a report had been received from a woman in the center’s department that her husband had beaten her with a sharp object and injured her face, hands, and eyes. The wife was transferred to Tamiya Central Hospital for a medical examination.
The officers of the center’s investigation unit immediately moved to the location of the report, and upon examination it was revealed that the wife was called Umniah. A. A, 37 years old, residing in the city of Tamiya, and is being harmed by her husband, called Thabet. F.M., 40 years old, for assaulting her by beating her and injuring her in the face, arms, and eyes, using a sharp object and a piece of iron, due to family disputes between them.
By codifying the procedures and obtaining the permission of the Public Prosecution, the husband was arrested, and when confronted, he confessed to committing the incident, a report was drawn up and the competent authorities were notified to undertake the investigation.
