The Egyptian national football team, led by Hossam Hassan, underwent physical training and recovery in preparation for facing the Nigerian national team on January 17 in the match to determine third and fourth places in the 2025 African Nations Championship.
Today, the Egyptian national team players trained in the gym at their hotel in Tangier, and the players who did not participate in the Senegal match yesterday participated in the training, along with the players who participated as reserves in the match.
On the other hand, the Egyptian national team players who mainly participated against Senegal performed recovery exercises to overcome the effects of stress, under the supervision of the Egyptian national team’s physical trainer.
The delegation of the first Egyptian national football team, led by Hossam Hassan, left the city of Tangier for the city of Casablanca in preparation for facing Nigeria next Saturday, January 17, in the match to determine third and fourth places in the 2025 African Nations.
The Egyptian national team delegation traveled from Tangier to Casablanca by train, a trip lasting several hours, before entering a closed camp in Casablanca in preparation for next Saturday’s match against Nigeria.
The Egyptian national team lost 1-0 to the Senegal national team in the semi-finals of the African Nations Championship, and the goal was scored by Sadio Mane, allowing the Senegalese national team to qualify for the final match in which it will face the Moroccan national team, the host and organizer of the tournament.
