A teacher at Al-Azhar Al-Sharif breathed his last inside one of the mosques in the city of Al-Qurain in Al-Sharqiya Governorate, while performing the evening prayer, in a poignant incident that filled the people and patrons of the mosque with sadness.

He witnessed the Al-Muzainin Mosque in the city spouse The last moments of Mahmoud Tanani’s life, as he was performing the evening prayer among the worshipers, before he suddenly fell during the second rak’ah of the prayer, which sparked a state of anxiety among those inside the mosque.
A number of worshipers rushed to try to rescue him and provide assistance to him immediately after his fall, but their attempts were unsuccessful, and he died inside the mosque, in a touching human scene that left a great state of sadness among those present.
The mosque turned into a state of shock and sadness among the people who arrived after the news spread, as a number of city residents confirmed that the deceased had a good reputation and good conduct among his students and colleagues, and was known for his high morals and dedication to his work.
The funeral of the deceased’s body is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, after the noon prayer from Essam Mosque in the city of Al-Qurain, amid expectations of wide participation from the family and his loved ones to bid him farewell to his final resting place.
The people of the city confirmed that the deceased left a good impact on the souls of his students and the children of Al-Qurain, praying to God to cover him with His vast mercy and to inspire his family and lovers with patience and solace.
