The investigating authorities also ordered criminal investigations to investigate the incident and its circumstances, question the family of the deceased, complete investigations with the person accused of committing the incident, and seize the weapon used in the incident.

The security services were a security directorate Qalyubia It received a notification from Lieutenant Colonel Ahmed Rabie, Chief of Investigations at Banha Police Station, stating that a report had been received about the killing of a young man in the village of Ramla in a house under construction. Immediately, a force from the station’s investigations moved to the scene of the incident.
Investigations revealed that the victim is called Muhammad Y. M. N., 17 years old, a student in the third year of secondary school, residing in the village of Mit Al-Attar, Banha District District, and that the accused is his friend, called Mahmoud A. He lured the victim to a building under construction, and ended his life with a penetrating stab in the neck, due to previous disputes between them.
After codifying the procedures, a force of investigations led by Major Mohamed Salah, Captain Amr Tahoun, and Captain Mohamed Ramadan, assistants to the chief of investigations, were able to arrest the accused, and under his guidance, the white weapon used to commit the incident was seized.
The body was transferred to the morgue of Benha Teaching Hospital at the disposal of the Public Prosecution, which initiated the investigation, ordered the assignment of forensic medicine to perform an autopsy, and authorized the burial after completing the necessary legal procedures.
