Today, Wednesday, the Red Sea Governorate continues to lift the maximum state of emergency and preparations, coinciding with the Meteorological Authority’s expectations of rain.

The area of Sheikh Al-Shazly and Berenice, south of Marsa Alam in the Red Sea, witnessed torrential rains and torrential rains, while the electricity supply to the two areas was cut off as a precaution, and the torrential rains caused damage to the sides of the asphalt road.
Eyewitnesses reported that the floods carried large quantities of mud, sand and stones that covered large parts of the road.
Meanwhile, the teams of the local unit and the competent authorities began to remove the debris, remove the sand, divert the flow of the floods away from the residential bloc, and restore the road to its normal condition, amid continuous monitoring of the weather condition.
