Dr. Mohamed Saeed, Vice President of Qena University for Community Service and Environmental Development, opened the first equestrian festival, in the presence of a group of deans, college deans and faculty members, in addition to about 1,000 university students.

In his speech, Dr. Muhammad Saeed conveyed the greetings of Dr. Ahmed Akkawi, President of the University, to the festival guests, noting the university administration’s keenness to support student initiatives and organize activities that contribute to developing students’ capabilities.

Dr. Ashraf Moussa stressed that the Equestrian Festival enhances the value of community and heritage activities within the university, noting that this celebration is part of student activities that contribute to enriching the educational process and providing a distinguished educational environment for students.

The festival witnessed distinguished participation by riders and horse owners who displayed their skills in horse riding and equestrianism. It aims to promote equestrian sports and introduce students and members of the university community to this traditional sport that carries a long history of authenticity.

At the conclusion of the celebration, Dr. Muhammad Saeed and Dr. Ashraf Moussa honored the festival participants, and presented festival shields, certificates of appreciation, and medals to the participants in appreciation of their effective contributions to the success of this distinguished event.
