Giza Governorate announced that the Roads and Transport Directorate in Giza will carry out maintenance work on the cross-sections of the Dokki Metal Bridge in the direction coming from Orman Square to the direction of Al-Batal Ahmed Abdel Aziz Street.
Partial closure of Dokki Metal Bridge
The Giza Governorate clarifies that the matter will require a partial closure of the Dokki Metal Bridge in the direction coming from Orman Square to El Batal Ahmed Abdel Aziz Street, for a period of (3) days, starting today, Thursday, 4/3/2026, until the morning of Sunday, 4/5/2026, provided that the work will be daily from 12 am until 6 am.
Giza Governorate indicates that the General Administration of Giza Traffic, in coordination with the implementing company, emphasized the necessity of committing to leaving one traffic lane to facilitate the movement of vehicles during the work period.
Coordination has also been made to place the necessary traffic guidance and warning signs, searchlights and light mills around the entire business site, to ensure the security and safety of citizens, in addition to appointing the necessary traffic services to direct traffic and prevent congestion.
Giza Governorate calls on citizens and vehicle drivers to adhere to traffic instructions and cooperate with the concerned authorities to facilitate traffic during the period of implementation of the works.
