As the holy month of Ramadan approaches, Dakahlia Governorate has intensified its preparations to ensure the availability of basic food commodities and Ramadan products at reduced prices, within the framework of the state’s directives to reduce the living burdens on citizens, especially low-income and middle-income families.
The governorate has relied on expanding the establishment of “Welcome Ramadan” exhibitions in various centers, cities and neighborhoods, in addition to supporting fixed and mobile outlets, to ensure that goods reach citizens easily and at competitive prices, which contributes to achieving stability in the market during the Ramadan season.
The governorate’s plan included the opening of a number of “Welcome Ramadan” exhibitions in vital locations, including the headquarters of the Chamber of Commerce in Mansoura, in addition to permanent exhibitions in the East and West neighborhoods of Mansoura, and the urban market in the city of Talkha, as well as the “Aman” and “Against High Prices” outlets, and the Egypt Future Agency for Sustainable Development outlets, in order to achieve a wide geographical spread that reduces congestion and facilitates citizens’ access to their daily needs without difficulty, while taking into account justice in distributing the exhibitions between cities. And the villages.
“Ahlan Ramadan” exhibitions provide various basic food commodities and Ramadan products such as dates, Qamar al-Din, goulash, apricots, raisins, coconuts, juices, and legumes, in addition to Ramadan lanterns, at discounts ranging between 15% and 30% compared to external market prices, with an emphasis that the discounts offered are real and subject to continuous monitoring.
The governorate emphasized its commitment to the quality and safety of goods displayed inside exhibitions, in order to preserve the health of citizens, and not to allow the circulation of any products that do not conform to specifications or have expired.
