Engineer Khaled Abbas, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the New Administrative Capital for Urban Development Company, expressed his thanks to everyone who attended the ceremony organized by the company to celebrate New Year’s, stressing his happiness with the number of attendees, which reached approximately 40 thousand people, which prompted him to promise the public to present a similar ceremony at the beginning of every new year.

He continued, during television statements, that the company deliberately started the celebration at three o’clock in the afternoon to be suitable for families, and so that everyone could see the grandeur of the new capital, stressing that the dream has become a reality of Egypt having a global city comparable to the major tourist cities.
He pointed out that this event represents the beginning, as more concerts and events will be organized to suit all categories of the Egyptian people, stressing that the year 2029 will be the year of the capital, with the opening of the City of Arts and Culture and the presentation of more artistic events, explaining that Egyptians deserve joy, especially at the beginning of every new year.
He continued by thanking everyone who contributed to the success of the ceremony, whether from Al-Asimah Company, United Company, or Tazkarti Company, in addition to the artists participating in reviving the ceremony and those in charge of the fireworks displays.
He stressed that Egypt is a country of security and safety, praising the role played by the Egyptian police in securing the celebration throughout the day without anyone noticing them.
