Bakri explained during the presentation of the “Facts and Secrets” program, broadcast on Sada El Balad channel, that the region is going through a very dangerous phase that carries developments that may affect its political form and future, but Egypt is managing this complex scene wisely and responsibly, and is working to put things back on the right track, by continuing its contacts with all parties concerned to push the peace path forward, while emphasizing the importance of raising awareness to confront Zionist plans and goals.

Mustafa Bakri concluded his statements by emphasizing that the Egyptian moves represent a clear message that Cairo will not abandon the Palestinian cause, expressing his confidence that the coming period will witness stability in the Gaza Strip, its unification with the West Bank, and the implementation of what was agreed upon regarding Israel’s withdrawal and the reconstruction of the Strip.

He pointed out that Cairo will host in the coming period an international conference for the reconstruction of Gaza, stressing that this role stems from a firm Egyptian conviction to support the establishment of a Palestinian state, without waiting for thanks or compensation from any party.
