Major General Amr Al-Gharib appointed Governor Menoufia By providing a kiosk equipped with food commodities to one of the humanitarian cases in the Ashmoun Center, after she called for help during his passage, stressing his keenness to support the most vulnerable groups and provide a stable source of income that guarantees them a decent life.

This came as part of an expanded tour by the governor to the center and city of Ashmoun, during which he inspected a number of service and development projects. The tour was not limited to following up on implementation rates, but rather extended to direct interaction with citizens and immediate response to their complaints.

During the itinerary of the tour, the governor noticed that there was severe overcrowding and crowding in front of the Petrotrade gas shipping port, which caused suffering to citizens, and he immediately directed coordination to provide an alternative headquarters for the port, with the establishment of umbrellas and civilized waiting rest rooms for those who frequented, with the aim of reducing crowding and improving the level of service provided.

The tour also included an inspection of the construction of the Sadat Commercial Secondary School in Ashmoun, which is being built on an area of ​​4,148 square meters with investments amounting to 20 million pounds, and includes 51 new classrooms, bringing the total to 57 classrooms, in preparation for its entry into service at the beginning of the next academic year, within the framework of the state’s plan to reduce student densities.

The governor also inspected the Ashmoun parking complex, where he stressed adherence to the official tariff, and directed a study on exploiting the available spaces in the parking lot to establish investment advertisements to support the governorate’s own resources.

In response to the residents’ complaints, the governor assigned the Water and Sanitation Company to review the drain covers on Zalabiya Street, in order to preserve the safety of citizens. He also directed the speedy completion of paving and installation of interlock tiles in the streets branching from Asmaa Bint Abi Bakr Street according to the specified timetables.

This tour comes within the framework of the Governor’s ongoing field follow-up, with the aim of improving the quality of services and meeting the needs of citizens on the ground.
