Major General Amr Al-Gharib, Governor of Menoufia, surprised the Fever, Digestive and Liver Diseases Hospital in Shebin El-Kom, to determine the level of performance, discipline, regularity of workflow, and the level of quality of medical services provided to patients.

The governor inspected the dialysis unit, the laboratory, the radiology and reception departments, and a number of internal departments in the hospital, to ensure that all aspects of the necessary medical and therapeutic care and capabilities are provided.

He conducted a dialogue with a number of patients, during which he was reassured about the level of services provided to them since they entered the reception, to determine the extent of immediate treatment and follow-up by medical staff to ensure the provision of better medical service, as the health sector is one of the main important axes that lies at the head of the work system in implementation of the directives of the political leadership.

During his inspection, the Governor of Menoufia ordered the disbursement of a financial reward to the hospital for their excellence in providing decent medical service and in appreciation of their efforts and performance in improving the medical system, praising the level of general cleanliness in the hospital. He also ordered the distribution of food cartons to the hospital’s cleaning workers in support of them.

This comes within the framework of the Governor of Menoufia’s keenness to periodically monitor the health sector and support it with the necessary capabilities to upgrade and improve services and health care in accordance with the goals and axes of sustainable development.

During his tour, the Governor of Menoufia inspected the new Shebin El-Kom entrance walkway to inspect the services and follow up on the regularity of work progress, stressing the continued implementation of service projects to improve the quality of services provided to citizens.
