Muslim narrated in his Sahih on the authority of Ibn Umar that when the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, mounted his camel, going out to On a journey, he said “Allahu Akbar” three times, then said: Glory be to Him who has subjugated this to us, and we would not have been near to it, and indeed to our Lord we will return.

The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Three prayers are undoubtedly answered: the prayer of the oppressed, the prayer of the traveler, and the prayer of a father for his child. A prayer for travel and preservation

- Oh God, make success our ally, goodness our goal, and keep us from making mistakes and committing sins. Oh God, return us safely and bestow upon us forgiveness in every step we take, and in every work we do.
- Oh God, protect me and keep away from me all evil. Oh God, protect me in my travel, in my jewelry, and in my journey. Oh God, protect every traveler until he reaches his destination and make his path easy, O Lord of the Worlds.
- My Lord, protect me and every traveler, and let us return to our families and loved ones safely. Oh God, we seek refuge in You from the hardships of travel, the gloom of the scene, and the bad situation in money and family.
- O God, protect me from before me, from behind me, from my right, from my left, and from above me, and I seek refuge in Your greatness from being attacked from under me.
