The General Administration of Supply and Internal Trade Police in the Economic Security Sector seized an “unlicensed” factory located in the Khanka Police Station in Qalyubia for the production and packaging of “adulterated” coffee, which is mixed with ingredients unfit for human consumption.

Inside it were seized more than 10 tons of “dried peas and starch” packed in bags without information, 75 kilograms of “coffee grinding waste,” more than 3 tons of coffee manufactured from dried pea raw materials, starch, and coffee waste of “unknown source,” and 7 “grinding – roasting – sieve – scale – production line” machines, in preparation for putting them on the market with the intention of deceiving and deceiving the consumer public to achieve illegal profits.
Legal measures were taken, and the Public Prosecution took over the investigation.
