The local unit of the center and city of Mattay in Minya Governorate announced that the electricity supply to the city of Mattay would be cut off on Saturday and Sunday, corresponding to December 27 and 28, in order to carry out periodic maintenance work on the city’s electricity networks.
The local unit explained that the outage period will start from nine in the morning until two in the afternoon, noting that disconnecting the power comes within the framework of carrying out the necessary maintenance work and raising the efficiency of the networks.

The local unit added that, in coordination with the Drinking Water and Sanitation Company, the company reported that the power outage would result in the interruption of drinking water to the city of Mattai throughout the maintenance period.
The local unit appealed to citizens to arrange their water needs in advance until maintenance work is completed and water pumping resumes normally.
