The Pharaohs participate in Qatar Football Festival 2026, during the period from 26 to 31 next March, where the teams of Saudi Arabia and Spain will meet in a friendly way in preparation for the World Cup.

The Egyptian national team will meet its Saudi counterpart next March 26, at the Ahmed Bin Ali World Cup Stadium.
The friendly match between Egypt and Spain will be held on March 30 at Lusail Stadium in Doha.
The Egyptian national team is competing in Group Seven of the World Cup, along with the national teams of Belgium, Iran, and New Zealand.
Details of the team’s preparations to participate in the 2026 World Cup
Hani Abu Raida, President of the Football Association, spoke about the Pharaohs’ latest preparations to participate in the 2026 World Cup, stressing that they will face Saudi Arabia and Spain next March, before the friendly match with Brazil before traveling to America.
Abu Raida said in press statements today: We started preparing for the World Cup with a friendly tournament in which we will play against Saudi Arabia and Spain, which is the number one team in the world, then we will play against Brazil and another team in America before the start of the tournament.
While Hossam Hassan, the coach of the national team, said: We chose to play against Spain, which is the first team in the world, and we chose Saudi Arabia, the highest team in Asia, and I hope that the preparations will be at a distinguished level from a physical standpoint in order to reduce the technical differences between us and the European teams that we will face in the tournament.
