This Wednesday morning, the trucks of aid convoy No. 111 moved in preparation for their entry from Egyptian territory into the Gaza Strip through the Kerem Shalom crossing, as part of the ongoing efforts to support the residents of the Strip and alleviate the deteriorating humanitarian conditions, according to what was reported by the Cairo News Channel.

The convoy includes dozens of trucks loaded with humanitarian aid, including food supplies, medical supplies, and basic relief supplies, which were prepared according to the urgent needs within the sector, and in coordination with the concerned authorities to ensure their speedy entry and distribution to those affected.
The convoy’s movement comes as part of Egypt’s ongoing efforts to support the Palestinian people, as Egypt continues to send humanitarian and relief aid to Gaza through the Kerem Shalom crossing, in parallel with its political and diplomatic efforts aimed at calming the situation and ensuring the safe and regular arrival of aid.

In another context, Major General Staff Khaled Mujawar, Governor of North Sinai, Ambassador Nabila Makram, Head of the Technical Secretariat of the National Alliance for Civil Development Action, Hatem Metwally, Vice President of the Technical Secretariat of the Alliance, and representatives of the Egyptian Red Crescent, received last Friday the representative and former United Nations Special Envoy for Refugees, the international star Angelina Jolie, and her accompanying delegation from the US State Department, on a humanitarian visit to North Sinai Governorate.
This visit comes within the framework of shedding light on the current humanitarian situation and the efforts of the Egyptian state and civil society to provide relief support to the brothers in the Gaza Strip.
The visit began with an inspection of the Rafah land crossing from the Egyptian side, where Angelina Jolie and the accompanying delegation looked at the aid trucks lined up in preparation for entry, and listened to a detailed explanation about the extent of the efforts made to prepare and send the ongoing relief convoys within the Egyptian mechanism for implementing aid, and also listened to the challenges that exist on the other side that hinder the entry of more aid to the brothers.
During her tour, the international star was keen to meet a number of National Alliance volunteers in front of the crossing, where she exchanged conversations with them, expressing her deep appreciation for their passion and dedication to humanitarian work, and their pivotal role in organizing and preparing aid despite all the challenges.
The visit also included an inspection of the logistical support centers of the Egyptian Red Crescent, and a tour of Al-Arish General Hospital, where the delegation was reassured about the health condition of the wounded and injured Palestinians receiving treatment in Egyptian hospitals. Angelina Jolie listened to the stories of their human suffering, stressing the need for united international efforts to end this tragedy and introduce more urgent aid.
