Artist Iyad Nassar revealed the scenes of his participation in the series “Friends of the Earth,” stressing that the motivation behind his participation in the work was not to achieve a trend or attract attention, but rather the ultimate goal was to convey a humanitarian message to the world that reflects the suffering of the people of Gaza.

Iyad Nassar said in radio statements: I felt a great responsibility since the role was offered to me, especially in light of the harsh reality. The aim of the series was to present a humanitarian message that translates the suffering of the people of Gaza, far from any religious or sexual considerations. We seek to talk about the common human values that unite us all.
Nassar added: The entire work team was committed to conveying the complete truth, without reducing the Palestinian issue to the Gaza Strip only. Here we are addressing the entire world, not just the local audience, stressing that the series was a platform that expresses humanity and aims to shed light on the harsh conditions that the Palestinian people live in.
Iyad Nassar’s statements
Although the artist Iyad Nassar is of Palestinian origins, he stressed that this factor was not the main motivation behind his choice of the role, saying: My sincere feeling of the human tragedy was the real motivation for me. In addition, the sincerity of the work team in conveying the image honestly was the most important factor.
Nassar touched on his relationship with his audience, stressing his respect for the viewer’s mind and his constant keenness to listen to the audience’s comments. He expressed his happiness with the audience’s interaction, saying: The reactions I received reflect the audience’s appreciation for me, and I am grateful for that.
Regarding criticism, Nassar emphasized that he is keen to accept constructive criticism from those close to him, whether his family or friends, stressing the importance of not directing hurtful criticism to his colleagues at work.
Regarding his personal life, Nassar spoke about the family aspect, stressing that raising children has become more difficult in the current era, explaining: I always try to listen to my children’s choices, especially when it comes to music, and I make sure to be close to them and understand their interests.
