Today, Saturday, the city of Hurghada, Red Sea Governorate, welcomes Belgian tourist “Kun Hellart,” known as “Belgian Santa Claus,” to celebrate Christmas and New Year, in an annual tradition that has been going on for 13 years.

Hillart is distinguished from other tourists by his unique personality, where he is accustomed that He wears the famous Santa Claus clothes throughout his visit to Egypt, and rides a camel during his arrival to the city, to be a source of joy and delight for everyone who sees him, whether tourists or citizens. The Belgian Santa Claus “is more than just a character that tourists celebrate in Egypt.”

The Belgian tourist dresses up as Santa Claus from Brussels Airport in Belgium, the largest airport in the world, and invites tourists to visit Egypt.

Belgian Santa Claus makes donations to orphan children during his visit, as part of his annual charitable initiative, where he contributes to supporting local communities.

It is worth noting that this is his twelfth visit, as he is keen to spend the Christmas and New Year holidays with his family in Egypt, stressing to Donna that Egypt has the best weather in the world at that time during New Year celebrations.
