The arena referee leads the continental final
CAF assigned the task of managing the match to international referee Jean-Jacques Ngambo Ndala from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, to be the arena referee in the final match. Ndala is considered one of the most prominent referees on the African continent in recent years, as he officiated many major matches in continental and international tournaments, and is distinguished by his firmness and discipline on the field.

He is assisted on the lines by two assistant referees, Jaylen Bongili Ngela and Gradel Mwanya Mbilisi, both from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, while the third assistant referee, Stephen Motsasi Moyo from the Congo, is in charge of the task, completing the crew of assistants charged with supporting the arena referee in accurately managing the course of the match.
