In the first district, which includes the center and city of Fayoum, for which 3 seats were allocated, the first round resulted in the decision of two seats, after the electoral process was repeated by decision of the National Elections Authority, where Mohamed Mahmoud Abdel-Qawi, the candidate of the Mostaqbal Watan Party, won, and Ali Ayoub, an independent candidate, while Sayed Ahmed Sultan, the candidate of the Republican People’s Party, and Mohamed Fouad Zaghloul, the candidate of the Awareness Party, were competing for the third seat in the run-off round.

As for the fourth district, which includes the centers of Abshway and Youssef Al-Siddiq, for which two seats were allocated, neither of them was decided during the first round, so the run-off witnessed a competition between Youssef Al-Shazly, the candidate of the Mostaqbal Watan Party, and Alaa Al-Omda, the candidate of the National Front Party, who belong to the coalition of parties, facing two independent candidates, Mustafa Momen, and Major General Mohamed Taaleb.

The malls opened their doors at nine in the morning, under regulatory procedures to facilitate entry and exit, and to ensure a safe environment that guarantees freedom of choice and the safety of the electoral process, with follow-up continuing until the polls closed.
