Later, the protests in several Iranian cities turned into clashes with the police, and the slogans took on a political nature, directing their arrows towards the existing political system in Iran. It was reported that there were injuries among security forces and demonstrators as well.
US President Donald Trump warned the Iranian authorities of dire consequences if the demonstrators were killed, while the Iranian Supreme National Security Council accused the United States and Israel of orchestrating unrest in the Islamic Republic.
