The Ministry of Education and Technical Education announced the opening of applications for the third batch of the presidential initiative (preparing 1,000 teachers to become school principals), which is selected by selecting a number of teachers to train and qualify them to become school principals.
Conditions for selecting the third batch of the initiative
The third batch will be announced in its affiliated educational directorates and departments according to the following conditions:
- Age from 35 to 45 years
- It is preferable to have experience in administration (he will be assigned the position of school dean or school agent).
- He must have received a competent performance evaluation during the last 3 years and not have received any disciplinary rulings at all
- He must be physically and mentally fit and healthy and free from any chronic diseases
- He must have skills in using computers, the Internet, and Microsoft Office programs
- To be familiar with contemporary trends in leadership
- To have a vision and tools for administrative development
- To have a general and diverse leadership and administrative culture
- It must meet the educational needs of the local community
- To have positive attitudes and values
- Commitment to the circular governing the initiative No. 20 issued on November 27, 2025
A personal interview is held in the educational directorates, headed by the Director of the Directorate in each governorate, with membership of the Deputy Director of the Directorate, the Director General of Internal Audit and Governance in the Directorate, the Director General of the Legal Department in the Directorate, the Director General of Human Resources Management in the Directorate, the General Director of Psychological Education in the Directorate, and the Dean of the College of Education or his delegate.
15 candidates from each district
15 candidates are nominated from each directorate, so that all departments are represented in each directorate, taking into account the gender selection ratio (males and females).
An intensive training program in educational leadership and national security for those accepted
The candidates are subjected to a personal interview by a committee at the Ministry of Education and Technical Education, in preparation for those initially accepted to undergo training conducted by one of the competent authorities to select those who are finally accepted, provided that they are qualified within the same authority for a period of 6 months to obtain an intensive training program in educational leadership and national security.
The Ministry of Education and Technical Education stressed that the Ministry’s General Administration for Educational Leadership Affairs will be provided with lists of candidates (Excel version) including the name of the directorate, the educational administration, the candidate’s name in full, the national number, the phone number, and the detailed address no later than Sunday, December 12, 2025.
